Grizzly Christian Fellowship has been working with 14 interns this summer. One of their assignments was to outline the gospel using nothing but scripture, and then to provide an account of the gospel using their own words. We want to share with you some of the responses given by our interns who are seeking Christ's glory at the University of Montana.

The gospel is what we share with others, it is the good news of our salvation. We are all born into sin because of the fall. This makes us unclean. How can we become clean? God sent Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus was crucified with the sins of the world on his shoulders. Since Christ took our sin we must repent and turn away from our sins, confess to Christ that we have sinned and believe that he is our savior. John 3:3 says "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." So until we turn away from our old ways and give ourselves to Christ we will not be made new. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation."

Once we have accepted Him we must live out our faith in all aspects of our life. Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." James 1:3 says "for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." Our salvation is something we must be reminded of daily because we live in a fallen world. So our faith will be tested and in order to stand against those temptations we must have a relationship with Jesus and seek him daily.
