Bob DeLateur is Pastor of Worship in Song and Pastoral Training at Indian Trail Church, Spokane, Washington. He also serves on The Gospel Coalition council for the Inland Northwest, which aims to encourage pastors in the Gospel in our region by providing pastoral equipping. He and his wife, Jeannie, have four children: Emmett, Ellie, Ephraim, and Emily.
Most Christians understand the power of the Gospel to justify by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ for their sins. But is this the extent Gospel’s work in our lives? 2 Corinthians 3:18 shows us that the Gospel not only justifies us but it also powerfully sanctifies us conforming to the image of Jesus Christ.
